Philippines Missions Trip 2026 (Day 5): Worship, Fellowship, and the Road Ahead

Day 5 brought the team into a new stage of the trip: a morning service, fellowship with local believers, and travel to the churches where each team will minister on Sunday.
A Rainy Saturday Morning
Heavy clouds remained over Metro Manila as the day began, but the weather did not stop the ministry. The team gathered for the morning service and prepared for another full day of serving alongside Filipino pastors and churches.
Fellowship Before the Road
After the morning service, a shared lunch gave the teams time to fellowship, catch their breath, and make final preparations for the next part of the trip.
Throughout the morning, team members used transportation provided by Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church. Even with the rain, the group was in good spirits and grateful for the faithful help of our local ministry partners.
Traveling to Sunday Assignments
After lunch, the teams began traveling to their assigned Sunday ministry locations. From this point, the group will be serving in several different churches before coming back together later in the day.
Some teams will have opportunities for community outreach, while others will hold evening services and serve in their host church.
Prayer Focus
Pray for safe travel as the teams separate and make their way to their Sunday ministry locations.
Pray for the pastors and churches receiving each team.
Pray for strength, health, and unity through a very full weekend of ministry.
Pray for clear gospel opportunities in each Sunday service.
Pray for the evening service at Pastor Benny Abante’s church.
What Comes Next
Tomorrow the teams will minister in their assigned churches. After the morning ministries, they will return, check in, and prepare for the evening service at Pastor Benny Abante’s church.
