At Faith Baptist Church, we want you to find encouragement, meaningful friendships, and a place to grow in Christ. Through clear, practical teaching from God’s Word, we invite you to discover the abundant life Jesus offers and take your next step of faith.
Whatever your experience with church, you and your family are welcome here. Below are a few answers to help you feel at home on your first visit.
VISITING FAITH
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There is not a dress code for our guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” attire; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Faith!
HOW LONG ARE SERVICES?
Our Sunday morning services aim to dismiss at 12:30pm, and evening services about 7:15pm.
Our Sunday School groups are 45 minute classes.
DO I HAVE TO GIVE MONEY?
No, you are not obligated to participate in the offering as a guest. We want our service to be a gift to you! This is a chance for our church family to give by paying the tithe and sacrificial giving to further the ministries at Faith.
WHERE DO I GO?
When you arrive, our parking ushers will help you find a place to park.
As you approach the main auditorium building, one of our hospitality greeters will meet you and direct you to the right classes.
Our nurseries and children's classes are located in Building B.
CAN MY CHILD STAY WITH ME?
We offer caring nurseries and age-appropriate children’s classes. Our greeters will gladly help you find them and meet the teachers.
We understand that feeling comfortable in a new place takes time. If you prefer to keep your children with you on your first visit, please sit near the back so you can easily step out if they need a break, helping everyone enjoy the service.
WHAT ABOUT MY TEENAGER?
The Armourbearers Youth Ministry serves grades 7-12 students.
We meet at 10am for Sunday School and Wednesday evenings at 7pm.
For worship services on Sunday mornings and evenings, youth sit together in the main auditorium's front right section.
DO YOU HAVE SMALL GROUPS?
While we do not offer in-home small groups, we seek to meet the needs of particular groups with our weekly class times, and discipleship program.

WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?
Our church is a Christ-centered Baptist Church committed to loving people and faithfully pointing others to the life-changing truth of Jesus Christ.

DO I NEED A BIBLE?
We use the King James Version in our English services. Bring a Bible if you have one so you can follow along and read God’s Word for yourself. Bibles are also available in the pews, and we often display Scripture passages and sermon notes on the screens.

SERVICE TIMES
Our main worship services are Sundays at 11am and 6pm. In the morning, enjoy traditional music from our choir and a practical Bible message that encourages you to grow in Christ and live out your faith each day. The evening service includes music, a time for children to recite memory verses, and a separate Bible preaching or teaching series.

OFFICE HOURS:
Our services include traditional congregational singing, choir music, and special music, along with clear Bible teaching and preaching. We gather to worship God, learn from His Word, and encourage one another to follow Christ. Each service is planned with prayer and care, and you are welcome to join us in person or online.

Our campus is located in NE Tacoma right near the border of Federal Way. If you travel west on 29th Street NE the church facilities will be on your left hand side with gray buildings and red roofs. You can't miss it!

Our bus ministry helps children, adults, and families get to church and find a place to learn about Christ, build friendships, and grow in faith. Our volunteers love this community and want every rider to feel welcome and valued.
If you or someone you know would like to ride one of our buses, please call the church office at 253-927-7673.
We also offer transportation in our accessible van for seniors and those with limited mobility. Please contact the church office to arrange a ride.
