Special Ministries

 

One of our missions here at Faith is to reach out to all of our neighbors and minister to as many different people as possible. As our community continues to grow, we too are continually growing by adding ministries that meet the specific needs of people who might otherwise be missed. This way we can reach a broader spectrum of our expanding community and help even more people grow in their faith.

Fundamentos Firmes

Led by Ben Smith, our Spanish Ministry seeks to bring the truth of the Gospel to our ever growing Spanish speaking population.

The Bus Ministry 

Led by Tom Tilton, the Bus Ministry allows us to reach children and families throughout Tacoma and Federal Way, providing transportation for those who may have no other means of coming to Faith.

The Shepherd’s Class

The Shepherd’s Class is designed to provide a safe environment for those with severe learning disabilities, creating a nurturing atmosphere where they can learn about God.

The Nursing Home Ministry

Years ago we realized that our nursing homes were being largely overlooked by local churches. With our Nursing Home Ministry we have sought to change that by going into different local facilities and providing regular church services for those who may not be able to easily leave the nursing home. This ministry has expanded to include Bible studies at various retirement facilities as well.

Faith Baptist Bible Institute

As our adults grow in their knowledge of the Bible, it is only natural that they seek after a deeper understanding of the truths found in God's Word. The weekly Faith Baptist Bible Institute classes provide practical teaching and training in Bible doctrines, the life of Christ, pastoral theology, and much more.
