Our Lord Jesus showed a love for children during His earthly ministry. Our goal is to exhibit that same love by encouraging children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. The Children's Ministries at Faith Baptist Church are constantly growing. Click the links below or on the left to see what all the excitement is about!
Sunday School is an important part of the learning experience at Faith. Through a variety of programs for everyone from the youngest child to the oldest adult, these classes are a wonderful time of fellowship, encouragement, and training provided in a smaller group setting. Sunday School attendees easily make new friends as they get to know the family of Faith. Classes begin each Sunday morning at 10:00 and provide a special time of learning with opportunities for an interactive look at the Bible.
"A Church" is an exciting class designed for children whose families regularly attend Faith.
Our goal is to supply these children with the skills necessary to become an active member of their local church. Each student is a valued member of the class, and is challenged to participate in the services, helping to take attendance, greet visitors, sing, participate in special music, read character stories, and much more. Our caring workers encourage the children to expand their horizons to find the direction God has for their lives.
Our "B Church" is designed to minister to the specific needs of the children who come to Faith through our bus ministry, and it continues to grow each week! Our loving teachers and workers are committed to providing a solid Bible foundation on which these precious children can build their lives. The Bible is taught on a level the children can easily understand, and through the use of puppets, games, activities, and special treats, children have a visual aid to create a lasting reminder of the lesson.
Patch the Pirate Club is a boatload of fun! This unique character-building program is designed especially for children, with an emphasis on daily devotions and Godly character. Based on the music of Ron Hamilton ("Captain Patch"), Patch Club teaches Christian character through fun, dynamic songs and Bible memorization.
Our Children's Choir is led by our music director, Brandon Lane. With curriculum designed for the training of young people within the church, this dynamic program instructs children in proper voice techniques, presentation, and performance. Each week these children improve in their singing ability, and when they put their knowledge and excitement to use in our church serivces it is a blessing to our entire church family.
The MasterClub program here at Faith is such a wonderful experience for our children! Through weekly meetings, Bible memorization, lessons, and worksbooks, children from K-4 through 6th Grade develop a better understanding of God's Word. Incentives such as award badges for their books or vests encourage children to use what they have learned in class in their everyday lives by inviting others to church, sharing God's Word with others, displaying Christian character, and showing kindness to others.
The Wiggle Worm class is designed especially for children from the ages of 3 to 5. Our teachers are experienced in dealing with boys and girls at this young age, and our loving workers labor side-by-side with the teachers, helping, playing, and singing with the kids.
